Saving Pots
The Saving Pot feature is designed to help you grow your savings within your Weyay app with the feasibility to create up to 5 pots, each is customized with a name and picture and personalized to target one goal or purpose in your mind.
There's no minimum balance required to open saving pot, whether Regular or Pro.
You can move money in and out of your Regular and Pro pots, but this will impact the due monthly interest, earned on your Pro Pot.
We calculate the annual interest based on your Pro Pot balance and the applied rate. When you keep in your Pro Pot a balance of less than KWD 500, you earn monthly interests based on a 0.5% annual rate. The annual rate increases to 1% when you keep KWD 500 or above.
The due monthly interest will be deposited to your Pro Pot in the beginning of each month.
You can close your Pro Pot at any time. As part of the pot closure, we will transfer all the Pro Pot balance and any due interest to your main Weyay account.
You can have a total of 5 pots, Regular or Pro Pots, at any point in time.
